Under the proverbial hood, the Redmi Note 9S is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G chipset, coupled with Adreno 618 GPU. In the RAM and ROM department, the phone boasts 4GB/6GB of RAM tiers and 64GB/128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage options. It is also in this segment in which one of the highlights of the phone resides ? a massive 5,020mAh battery with support for 18W fast wired charging.
As part of the Redmi Note 9 series, the Note 9S also has an impeccable rear camera design ? one that is also a rarity in the competition. It features a unique rectangular camera module which is placed at the center of the phone’s back panel. The module houses a quadruple-camera setup, front-lined by a 48MP wide camera. Its auxiliary sensors include 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro, and 2MP depth lenses.

The Redmi Note 9S will retail in three color variants ? Glacier White, Aurora Blue, and Interstellar Grey. The phone?debuted globally in March 2020.
